Studio Cose is a Zurich-based interior design firm founded by Melanie JSC Pansolli. Melanie is passionate about interior design that connects the dwellers with the space, in their own unique way. The studio puts the clients’ need and visions in the centre of its focus when offering a highly personalised design service. Special importance is placed particularly on the comfort, functionality and practicality of the space it designs, ensuring that the interior scheme is not only visually pleasing but also inviting and liveable.
Melanie has accumulated solid knowledge in both the field of Interior design and luxury product design and production. She spent several years working at the design firm Lotusier London, as head of Project management in the interior design department, developing design concept and mood boards, spatial planning, Furniture, fixture and equipment (FF&E) sourcing, liaising with suppliers on bespoke product demands and much more. Later on, she became the Head of Product Development in the product design department - focusing on the world’s first ever made ‘Tea Humidor’ launch.
Melanie’s previous experience in the fashion and furniture industry has given her design an unique edge. Her deep understanding of the tangible and intangible human need in various spaces, coming from her academic background in Sociology, gives an additional humane quality in her design thinking.
In 2019, she started her own practice in Switzerland, creating Studio Cose, to work on more personal projects.
